Introduction

The Electrical wiring program is a Chapter 74 approved program designed to instruct students in the theories related to electricity, the construction and implementation of electrical circuitry and the usage of various wiring methods. Students are instructed by lecture, demonstration and observance of performance with the aid of, and in accordance with, the National Electrical Code Book. Students utilize retained knowledge and manipulate hand, power and diagnostic tools to perform a multitude of electrical projects.

Co-op Program

Seniors and Juniors that meet the eligibility requirements are able to participate in the Co-op Program. Students must maintain the appropriate QPR level and have the approval of all vocational, academic staff, administrators, and parents or guardians. Clock hours spent in the "Related" classroom and shop are documented and applicable to hours needed for the completion of apprenticeship training to be eligible for the Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician's License Exam.
